Soooo a non law-enforcement discharged a firearm in a residential area for no good reason? And everyone is only worried about a sheep corpse? Since when can AC go around shooting things?

I have a problem with allowing some chucklehead with who knows how little firearms training shooting animals in my backyard... Forget about removing the corpse. Lucky it wasn't my house.... I mighta got skeered fer me life, and shot 'back'.

Sheesh.

I wouldn't call Animal Control I would call the Charles Co. Gov and ask them why thier people shot the sheep. If it was wounded it should have been thier job to see that it got medical help. And they can't say they have no way to transport it they have a damn horse trailer!!! They will pick up injured/ wounded horses from situations but can't do it for one little sheep...Azzes!!!!jmo

I believe it's St. Mary's. A call to the County Administrator's office will probably solve the problem, also.

A shot fired is like a bell rung. You can't unring a bell.

However a dead sheep currently rotting in someone's back yard is a community health hazard, and I would think that's a priority to address.

Of course, the yahoo who thinks it's cool to fire weapons at living (presumably non-dangerous) creatures in a residential neighborhood should be flogged in the public square.

But me, I'd worry more about that after the carcass situation has been handled and the biohazard removed.
