They warned me not to use water, but as usual, I never listen!

The first time I rode with Aps he said my bike looked perfectly normal sitting all by it's lonesome but once I got on it, it looked like a little circus bike. :lmao:

I DID wash my bike once... Splains everything! :lmao:

Okay heres my theory on cleaning my bike.

1. If it's nice enough to ride why would I want to waste time cleaning it. Lost saddle time.

2. If it too nasty out to ride. Why would I want to be outside in weather like that? No garage to clean it in!

Thus a dirty bike.

I've heard someone say they like to "clean" their bike with pledge. Shiny and lemony fresh!!!

If it's nice enough out to wash it, I'm riding it.

Although I may have to scrape the ten pounds of bug guts off of the front fairing for the bike show tomorrow.. And that was from ONE ride back from PLO..

There's a plastic polish/ cleaner out there- Plexus. Great for cleaning visors, and fairing windshields, and it smells VERY much like pledge.. and there are posts on forums out there where people have said they clean their helmets and visors with Pledge.

(Never use Rain-X on visors, learned that one the hard way.)

Vince, You can do like i did on my other Night Train, get a set of Harley chrome pull back risors and a set of cone head extensions, it brings it back towards you so you dont have to lean forward, and you still have the look of the drag bars,

Already has a riser on it. I'll have to look into it. Thanks.

Vince, the bike has 6 inch straight risors, if ya get the 4 1/2 pull backs with the cone head extensions, it will clear the tank and everything else will fit, you may need to loosen the banjo bolt for the front master cylinder and move the line a lil. if ya need more info pm me,

I thought Jap bikes were disposable...like Bic shavers.
they are, its just that with a little care along the way to the big rice patty in the sky, you should get over 100k on them easy.
