Home run on Inglourious Basterds :yay: I thought I'd hate it because of the subtitles, but it was a winner!

I've never been a big fan of Brad Pitt, but I really like his portrayal of this particular character.
Really? I thought this was one of his worst performances. Looked unnatural as if he was trying too hard. I rather enjoyed the Australian Christopher Waltz's "Jew Hunter" role.

I really wasn't looking for natural. I thought the character was supposed to be a little over the top, which in my mind doesn't really equate to natural.

Yeah, it is an over-the-top movie. I don't know, something bugged me about his character. It seemed like he was grinning the entire movie and was trying to hold back from laughter.

I hope nobody looks for natural in a Quentin Tarantino movie.

I think Brad Pitt is the finest actor of our generation. Almost every performance is stellar, especially the more difficult roles like the guy in Snatch, Jeffrey Goings in 12 Monkeys, and this role in IB. Very talented and diverse. The only other actor who comes close to him is - and I hate to say it - Leonardo DiCaprio.
