Another part of the game is where you try to imply that anyone who doesn't think like you do is really the same person posting under different aliases. For example, me and NHBoy frequently get accused of being the same person.

I agree 100% with you on this one Patch.... Part of what is going on has to do with the fact that most people in SoMD refuse to accept the rest of the world and what is going on there. Has something to do with the Peninsula effect.
I'm sure it's the same on Cape Cod and in southern Florida.
BTW... I read the article and thought it was informative. NHBoy posts some interesting stuff but the majority of it has to do with whatever agenda he is harboring.
Now to all of you others.... quit driving decent forumites out. Most of you, Not all, are rude and obnoxious. Some of you are even mean. It's almost like being back in Junior High School.

Well, if you actually read the stuff I post, then you'll know that this is either one of, or the biggest financial bubbles in history. It's quite interesting to watch it unfold.
You live in a waterfront house, right? Well why don't you try at least one post or two per day about a sunset or how many herons you have standing on the pier. The stuff in the Raley's thread was actually informative and interesting. GFY. Grab an el cheapo digital camera and snap a few pics and post them.:shrug:
EXAMPLE:
We had bicycle accident down here a couple of weeks ago and the guy had to be flown out. I can't believe they landed Trooper 7 in the little azzed field. Last I heard the guy was still in a coma but he could respond to his wife's voice.

I have the loser squad on iggy so I can't see their lame posts anymore.Their problem is they are pathetic losers. patchy, anhoying, woody, and forest have no life except to bring attention to themselves by annoying others.
The rest of us play, joke, rib, razz, ridicule and harass each other here and we have fun doing it. These bozo's have such pitiful lives that all they can do is drone on in the mundane.
Hell, even Slappy laughs at himself occasionally and gets a good one on me every now and then. That's why I didn't include him in the loser squad above.
Well, I have to say I'd rather read Patch obsessing about the housing market than the innumerable threads about sex or trying to pick up some strange. I'm over all the JPC treads, too. And horsie treads. And animal rescue treads.
So what the heck. As far as obsessions go, at least Patch's is somewhat interesting.

I think the beauty of forums/blogs is the ability to post what ever (mis)information you find important so you can share it with the rest of the world. By being able to further your own agenda you can get other mindless fools to follow along in the army you have also joined.

Oh because I'd prefer an intellectual conversation I'm an outcast?? You don't know me, you don't know anything about me. Same goes the other way.
I didn't realize the reason for the forums was to Joke, rib, razz, ridicule and harass (ok there is a thread...gee I wasn't on that one), I was on the financial thread. I don't live on here. I occasionally drop by to see what is going on in SoMD outside of my normal insight. I come here to find out things that are going on, news, events etc. I don't come on here to razz and antagonize people looking for information. I save that for when I'm dealing with actual human beings. I'm done for today. I'll be back tomorrow to see if some idiot rode his motorcycle into a tree because he was going too fast... maybe I'll see a picture of a two headed horse...

There are plenty of intellectual threads. The group I mentioned need attention so they start 10 threads a day about the SAME thing. That's pathetic.
While you don't start a bunch of boring threads, you were lumped in because you jumped on ole patchys bandwagon. Birds of a feather.
