Any place in the north end of the county I can get local peaches?

Have you tried the little Amish farmer's market on the corner of rt. 6 and rt. 5, in front of the Charlotte Hall Library? I imagine one of the stands there might have them.

morningbell, well, I hope you let that cute kid win that fight over that peach. :eyebrow:

TELL ME ABOUT IT!!! I miss three things about :gossip:. The kids, the sex and the peaches:yum:

I haven't made a peach amaretto cheesecake in three years.:ohwell:

Let's ride down there and get peaches and those white plums that taste like bananas:jet:

Screw him, I told him to get a job.

:lmao:Of course I let him. He wanted the one with the leaf still on it. Your cutie would love some fresh local peaches too!

Never had that!!!!

How do you make it?

1 8oz cream cheese
1 14oz can of condensed milk
2 eggs
3 tbsp Amaretto (don't used that schnapps crap, use the good stuff)
1.5 tsp almond extract
3 fresh medium sized peaches, peeled and sliced, not too thin
2 tbsp peach preserves
1 pie crust, pre-made or homemade

Preheat oven to 375
Bake the pie crust 15 minutes

Beat the cream cheese until fluffy then gradually add the condensed milk until smooth.

Add eggs, 2 tbsp of Amaretto and 1 tbsp of almond extract, mixing well.
Fill the pie crust and and bake approximately 25 minutes. Don't let it get too hard on the top.

Cool the pis then arrange the peaches on top.

In a small saucepan on low heat, stir the preserves and remaining Amaretto and almond extract until hot. I usually add a bit more Amaretto to this part, the alcohol burns off anyway.

Refrigerate the leftovers..(there won't be any)

:yay: This is the best sweet I've ever made.
