Sparks, what brand of tinted stain did you use, and where did you get it?

Also, how did you apply (brush, roller, or sprayer)?

I think the stain came from Sherwin Williams in Waldorf. We have board and batten so we used all 3 methods, but a lot of one person spraying (simple back-pack sprayer) in the crevices and the second person going right behind them with a brush.

There's probably an easier way but we usually do everything the hard way. :whistle:

Some of the boards were just cut (from the tree) about a month ago. How long do I have to let them dry out before I can stain or waterseal them?

For new wood, you need to make sure the wood is dry. We waited 6 months.

BTW - The sherwin williams stain we used has a 7 yr guarentee.
