Ok, boys and girls...

When do you start decking?

Usually Thanksgiving weekend, but it didn't happen this year. I did get my outside decorations up yesterday with a little help from a friend, but the tree isn't going to happen until Thursday after my new furniture comes.

I usually put it up the weekend after Thanksgiving weekend. But this year, I didn't begin decorating for Christmas until yesterday.

Thanksgiving weekend




Growing up we put up all the decorations except the tree Thanksgiving weekend. My Mom always made us wait until Christmas Eve to put the tree up! I would get so excited about the tree finally going up I'd get bronchitis and have to lay on the couch and watch the tree get decorated

I called home and they still haven't put the tree up...so I'm guessing we'll decorate the house when I get home this weekend. Ha...home for good!
