I mean, it's not going to amount to a hill of sh*t - McCarthy will eventually win the vote and become Speaker. We the People have no chance against the political machine and our overlords. But I am happy to see at least a few of them take a stand. I admire rebellion.

I get why MTG and even Donald Trump are like, "Oh for god's sake, just vote for McCarthy already" but I hate that attitude. It's like that house that's had additions and repairs and little nitties here and there, and now it's this dangerous monster that really needs to be burned to the ground and start over. And if you have to live in a Motel 6 during the new construction, oh well. There's this thing called a "future" and we should be looking at that vs. a little temporary discomfort right now.
