WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump, declaring a national emergency because of tensions with Iran, swept aside objections from Congress on Friday to complete the sale of over $8 billion worth of weapons to Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Jordan.

A few things worth noting:

1. Republicans, including Senators are not happy with Stompy Feet II's decision.

2. Why are there tensions with Iran?? Gee...maybe it is because our inept and incompetent President tore up an agreement and imposed sanctions?

While Democrats play their faux outrage card over (NON-journalist) Khoshaggi, Congress - as a whole - is the one with Stompy Feet Syndrome; wanting to insert itself into a situation simply to say "hey, what about us?" Did Trump do anything illegal? No; even DemWit Chris Murphy of CT admits as much.

Congress would continue to fiddle even if the Middle East went totally up in flames; the make-up of Congress makes it systemically and historically ill-suited for matters of national strategy (as in "too many cooks...").

And why are there tensions with Iran? Your response of Trump tearing up an agreement is 100% uninformed (if you're trying to offer serious commentary) and/or 100% stupid (if you're just looking for a story you can use to fuel your daily anti-Trump kink/fetish).

Obviously you have not been paying attention. So, I’ll bring you up to speed.

They want to build nuclear weapons to blow up and kill everyone in Israel, the USA, and anyone else that does not agree with their world order.
They want to continue to fund Islamic terrorism around the world and eventually use nukes to do it.
They want to shut down the Strait of Hormuz and disrupt global oil supplies.
