Dell Win 8 3520 Inspiron Laptop use of home wifi

ArkRescue

Adopt me please !
I am trying to help my neighbor who has a Dell Inspiron 3520 running Win 8 to connect to my wifi. I have been successful with having his computer "talk" to my network (passcode correct) but the connection on his side is saying "Limited". I see packets being sent/received.

My wifi has been in use for approx. 2 1/2 years with no updates to firmware that I am aware of, so I am wondering if it's MY problem that it's not working? I have tried looking at every setting on the laptop. This is a potential help for the rescue as he's going to pay me a monthly fee to use my wifi. I can really use the money for the rescue. Help if you can .....
