A Suit and Cry: Social Influencer 'Coach Mox' is Mocked For Weeping Over Zelenskyy Clothing Question
I can’t stand social influencers but let’s do this. On Friday, Volodymyr Zelenskyy was with President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance in the Oval Office. Before the big blowup that everyone’s talking about there were some questions from reporters. A reporter asked Zelenskyy why he never wore a suit. I know, not the most serious question but still something Americans would like to know. The question sent a TikTok influencer named 'Coach Mox' into tears. How dare he be asked such a thing! Waaaaahhhh! It’s the fakest, most ridiculous thing you’ll probably see this weekend.

Democrats Encouraged Zelensky to Scoff at a Possible Peace Deal, Setting Up Oval Office Blowout

Less than an hour before entering the Oval Office, Zelensky met with several lawmakers, including Murphy and other Democrats. Based on the wording of the above post, the senator (or someone else at the table) pressed the Ukrainian president to reject a "fake peace agreement," which is a clear shot at Trump's attempts at diplomacy. At the very least, these Democrats encouraged Zelensky to remain defiant in that position, and we all know what happened next.
Attending that meeting and glad-handing with left-wing partisans who do not want peace because it would make them look bad was a colossal mistake by Zelensky. He needed to go into the Oval Office with a reconciliatory attitude. No one was asking him to sign a peace deal with Russia on the spot. All Trump wants to do is hold talks. Ukrainian leaders would still hold the right to reject ceasefire terms if they saw fit.
That's what makes this entire thing so mind-numbing. There was no reason for Zelensky to do what he did. Trump was ready to give the bag away on a very Ukraine-friendly mineral rights deal. To blow that up served no purpose whatsoever. Details of any possible ceasefire could be hashed out much later and not in a way meant to embarrass the president and vice president.
Zelensky needs to understand that these Democrats have no power. The Biden administration is gone, and Republicans control both the Senate and the House. Chris Murphy isn't going to be writing Ukraine a check. All he and his cohorts can do is virtue-signal, and that's not winning any battles against Russia. If things are going to be patched up with the Trump White House, Zelensky has to accept that reality and stop believing that he can bully his way to American military commitments by appealing to the press and Democrats.
An “Arm of the Kremlin”?
On CNN this morning, Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy, who might be the dumbest man in government today, decried the Trump administration’s position on the Russia/Ukraine war. You can read much more at the link, but I am going to focus on just a couple of points. First, the question asked by CNN’s Dana Bash:
This is mind-numbingly stupid. The proper question, as even Zelensky realizes, is whether Ukraine has hope of salvaging its relationship with the United States. So in this interview, you know from the beginning that you are in a fog of unknowing.

Of course, if the White House were really an arm of the Kremlin, it would be suppressing domestic oil and gas production and pursuing “green” energy fantasies. That, much more than anything else, is how an American administration either helps Russia (Obama) or hurts Russia (Trump). Which is why for decades, as official intelligence reports have documented, Russia has provided covert support to American environmentalist groups.
But of course, Murphy isn’t talking about that. He is talking about the fact that Russia apparently is willing to agree to an immediate ceasefire and a permanent resolution of the conflict, while Ukraine, under Zelensky, wants to fight on. At our expense, of course. President Trump thinks that after three years, the war has gone on long enough, and the pressing need is to bring it to an end.
The Long Shadow of Hillary Clinton
If one wanted to trace a useful starting point for the destruction of Russian and Ukrainian armies, I would suggest the day after the 2016 election. Without evidence, Hilary Clinton and John Podesta claimed that Donald Trump was a Putin stooge and that through Russian interference in the US election, he was elected president. If you could get the ex-secretary of state away from her glass of Chardonnay for a few minutes, she would no doubt repeat the same: the election was stolen from her, and Vladimir Putin was the culprit. These claims had profoundly negative repercussions in the world. The first was the “Russian Collusion” investigation that wasted two and a half years of the Trump administration. Nothing was found, and the millions spent on Robert Mueller’s dream team were wasted, other than it hamstrung the president and supercharged the support, often bipartisan, for Ukraine, a country known for widespread corruption.
During the first Trump presidency, there should have been a series of photo ops of Trump and Putin at Camp David and at Putin’s lair in Sochi. Like Gorbachev with Reagan and Thatcher, Putin and Trump should have started a new era of respect and cooperation. China was emerging as the major economic and military threat to the world. Pulling a reverse Nixon and bringing Russia closer and away from China would have been a big win for the United States. China would have had to rethink its aggressive moves in Asia and its world-conquering “belt and road” initiative, with Russia being out of the picture. But with Clinton’s accusations and the snowball effect of media and investigations, Putin was radioactive for Trump. They could not meet regularly, and any approach to Russia would be labeled a quid pro quo for helping Trump get elected. A strong US-Russian alliance could have prevented the present Ukraine war and allowed for some type of settlement between the countries on the issues of Crimea and the Donbas. One has to recall that it was Nuland who said that she paid $5 billion to “rent a mob” to get rid of the democratically-elected Ukrainian leader, who was leaning towards Moscow. Zelensky’s rise was not organic; whereas Trump honestly owed Putin nothing, Zelensky owed his rise to the USAID crowd who helped get him into office.
It was said at the time that the American ambassador to Iraq may have signaled to Saddam that the US would not mind his grabbing Kuwait; what followed was a great deal of destruction and bloodshed. Vladimir Putin cited Clinton’s rolling him on Libya as a reason not to trust the US. The US, under Obama, got Putin to vote in favor of the UN plan to deal with Libya. After Clinton received permission from the Security Council, she went in and eventually brought about the then-Western-leaning Qaddafi’s demise. She thought herself so pithy when she commented, “We came. We saw. He died.” Her ambassador to Libya later died because Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton did not want to admit that Al-Qaeda was behind the consular attack so close to the 2012 election. Those who died in Benghazi were collateral damage to their political ambitions. No military rescue was undertaken during the hours-long siege, though planes in Italy were waiting for instructions that never came.
