They have gotten real strict on that stuff recently because of the psychological effect that it is having in some people.

Acutane is a very powerful acne skin medicine that litterally dry's you out so bad that your lips, and areas peel as if you had a bad sunburn. They do blood tests to test your liver etc..

My son is on it.

Ex and I consulted many many of months and time before we decided to give it to him. He is 17. Kids have commited suicide, killed family etc. on Acutane.
He's been on for about 2 months. He Looks wonderful. It is amazing. Once a day on a 4 month program.

You do get worse before you get better. I believe the longer you wait, with the person the better. See your doc regular and stay in touch with the person taking it. ie.. child..

I'm starting with the tribal on my ribs, then the butterfly on my hip, then the dolphin on my shoulder. Those are the 3 I really want off right now. I'll eventually have them all taken off.

Have you read the side effects of Acutane? You thought you were looney when you were with child, this stuff would just set you straight over the edge. :lol:

I don't think a dermatologist will prescribe Acutane unless you have some pretty severe acne. :shrug:

If you find a good doc to zap off your tattoos, let me know. I want mine gone as well. What is "cool" at the age of 18 is "white trash" (IMHO) at my age. :lol:

Accutane is :yay:

. I went through 6 mos. of it while planning my wedding, but of course had to wait a year afterwards b/f getting pregnant so that I wouldn't give birth to a mongloid. Most doctors will make you try every cream under the sun prior to prescribing it, though. However, they may go a bit easier on you since you are 'fixed.' They had to draw my blood monthly to test levels and also ensure I wasn't pregnant. I went through the guy right on Exploration Drive...Dr. Saini. Only I don't like him much and saw his assistant all the time - I can't remember her name but she was young and cool.
