Call me Freud, but Somdmommy's opinions all seem predominantly based on envy.

Oh, and regarding bars. Some of my fondest childhood memories come from being attached at the hip with my dad, which :gasp: frequently included a bar. :yikes: :faint:

Now why would anyone want to do this. That is just something you REALLY should not mess with!?!?!

Canadian Melissa Vatkin has joined thousands of couples flocking to the United States to cash in on the disputed luxury of being able to dictate the sex of their next baby.
Parents from around the world are forking out around 19,000 dollars for a groundbreaking gender selection treatment offered by only a handful of US clinics but banned in most countries.

Im on the fence with this one. I dont think its right for the parents to be able to change the colors of eyes, hair, ETC..... I also dont think you should be able to chose the sex of the baby unless you have good reason to and, good reason to being you are unable to have kids without help and you really wanted a son/duaghter. I guess!

What's a duaghter?

Stay on the fence, it can't impregnate you. TIA.

I know, what Im saying is I don't agree with it but if someone that couldn't have kids with out help I think it would be Ok for them to do specially the people that only want 1 child. Thats why Im on the fence when it comes to my opinion on this topic.
