A German designer has created a bizarre new range of shoes - from dead animal parts.

Iris Schieferstein, 45, spends months creating high heel horse hooves, stilettos from snake skins and sandals sculpted from doves.

:shrug: we've used animal parts to make and decorate our clothes since the hunter/gatherer days. Leather, bone buttons and beads, feathers etc.

Yeah but has anyone made boots to look just like a cow's leg and hoof? I could go either way with how I feel about the horse hoof boots...as long as she is using horses (or other animals) that are already dead, why not?! But they are def not my style! I think its strange, but I dont think I'm grossed out by it.
