PGPD Detectives Arrest Three Suspects in Landover Hills Fatal Shooting

Prince George’s County Police Homicide Unit detectives identified and arrested three suspects in connection with a recent murder in Landover Hills. The suspects are 47-year-old Eris Lopez, 20-year-old Omar Valdez Granados and 20-year-old German Escobar Hernandez. All three suspects are from Lanham. They’re charged with murdering 45-year-old Frederico Cruz Ojeda of Landover Hills.

On November 23, 2023, at approximately 7:15 pm, officers responded to a shooting in the 7100 block of Webster Street. Officers located the victim suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.



The preliminary investigation revealed the suspects shot the victim during a dispute. They were known to each other.



The PGPD investigates all homicides in the town of Landover Hills.
