PGPD Detectives Investigate Homicide in Suitland

The Homicide Unit is working to arrest the suspect(s) who killed a man Tuesday afternoon in Suitland. The victim is 27-year-old Keith Daniel Bennett of Suitland.


On June 13, 2023, at approximately 12:35 pm, officers responded to the 4500 block of Silver Hill Road for the report of a shooting. Officers located Bennett outside suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Detectives are working to identify a suspect(s) and motive.
