Charles Co. Detectives investigating shooting at an apartment complex in Waldorf

On April 10 at 7:15 p.m., officers responded to the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 2100 block of Crain Highway in Waldorf for the report of a shooting. A preliminary investigation revealed an adult male shot another adult male, both of whom are known to each other. The shooter was detained, and the injured male was transported to a hospital with injuries that were later determined to be non-life-threatening. Through further investigation and in consultation with the Charles County State’s Attorney’s Office, charges are pending the outcome of the investigation.
