:lol: You gotta pay the property taxes and I'd be willing to bet many of them are already in the arrears. I saw some videos and pictures of several for sale, not sure if they are even worth 1 dollar. :ohwell:

How about you buy a crapload of Detroit, then turn it all into green space, then you get a big tax deduction and they can't build more tenements?

Latest plan is that someone is buying a bunch and turning it into farmland. Of course, I have no idea what his plan is for keeping contaminants from what was urban soil for 50 years from screwing up the crops.

Maybe he can overlay it with sludge from the slaughterhouses and cattle pens. From around the area.

It has been years since I have been there, but here's a few ideas:

Babalo island? Ford Museum? Frankenmuth? Visit Greektown? Ride the People Mover?

If you are not limited to Detroit, go north to Traverse City?
