Dr. Diadoine in Prince Frederick, MD, office in a building right beside Calvert Memorial Hospital. Outstanding ENT. She is a short lady, but as nice as you could ever find. An outstanding doctor. Since I used to work at NIH years ago, I knew quite a few ENT doctors. I believe you will like her. Breathing problems caused by a DS is something that should be corrected early in the child's life. This is because the allergies caused by the DS can become a problem. Good luck.

Dr. Diadoine and her staff are wonderful. My daughter just had surgery there in March. Have nothing but great things to say about them.

I had mine fixed several years ago. The worst part was the super huge "tampons" shoved up my nose and in my sinus cavity. There was some bleeding afterward but I had gauze taped to my face to help staunch the flow. I didn't have black eyes or anything afterward. Only had to have the packings in for two days. After they were removed my nose was tender and swollen but in less than a week I was pretty good to go. Good luck to your son. The procedure really isn't bad at all.

Ditto except you left out the part where they have to remove the packing that hurts really bad!!!!!!!I wanted to punch the doctor! Well I was 13 when I had this surgery!
