Diatomaceous Earth for fleas

Does anyone know where I can purchase diatomaceous earth for flea control? I know it is an environmentally friendly mineral alternative to toxic house bombing, but I have been unable to locate it locally.

I used DE for pool, but it isn't the kind you'd use on animals for flea control. There are several different kinds of DE. You'd need a food grade DE, and you can buy it on line. Here's one place:

PARA*CLEAR Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth 3 lb. powder

Please don't use pool DE on a cat...

You should be able to find it just about anywhere that sells lawn and garden supplies. Southern States, Lowes, Walmart, Home Depot....

I got it on the net. Much cheeper! garden harvest supply. sapost be great for worming also.
