Let's see where this goes. I mean if the BO birth certificate thing is a non-issue, let's see all the left-weenies jump on this one.

No Use for Donk Twits
It's not signed by the presiding judge yet and this prosecutor has been known to do some crazy stuff, like indict his political opponents.

The loon should be locked up himself and the key thrown away.

Now now... let's not try to make this a non-issue.

Common sense ain't common
I'm reserving my opinion for the court. I have no idea if it's true. But I promise you this will get sweeping coverage in the MSM.

Good call...

CNN Political Ticker - Texas grand Jury indicts Cheney, Gonzales

A grand jury in south Texas indicted Vice President Dick Cheney and former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales on separate charges related to alleged prisoner abuse in federal detention centers, Willacy County District Attorney Juan Angel Guerra told CNN Tuesday.

On the southern tip of Texas, Willacy County is on the United States-Mexico border.

Democratic state Sen. Eddie Lucio, Jr. is also charged in the indictment. Michael R. Cowen, an attorney for Lucio, issued a statement calling Guerra a "one man circus."

"In the March 2008 Democratic Primary, 70 percent of the Willacy County voters elected to remove Juan Guerra as Willacy County District Attorney," Cowen said in a statement. "Now, with only a few weeks left in his term, Mr.Guerra has again chosen to misuse his position in an attempt to seek revenge on those who he sees as political enemies."

But wait! There's MORE...

MSNBC.com - Cheney, Gonzales indicted in Texas county

Vice President Dick Cheney and former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales have been indicted on state charges involving federal prisons in a South Texas county that has been a source of bizarre legal and political battles under the outgoing prosecutor.

The indictment returned Monday has not yet been signed by the presiding judge, and no action can be taken until that happens.

Dancing Up A Storm
On the surface, it seems kind of far-fetched:

"Cheney's indictment on a charge of engaging in an organized criminal activity criticizes the vice president's investment in the Vanguard Group, which holds interests in the private prison companies running the federal detention centers. It accuses Cheney of a conflict of interest and "at least misdemeanor assaults" on detainees because of his link to the prison companies."

Just because you invest in a group in charge of runnng these centers, does that make you liable for their alleged practices? How do they make that connection?

There has to be more than this; a little vague, it sounds.

THAT might be the dumbest thing I've ever heard! :lmao:

And now I vow with my whole heart and soul that I will do everything in my power to make Barack Obama's 4 years a living nightmare. Or at least I can torment his stupid supporters.

Of all the things Captain Dick may be guilty of...I'm not thinking this has any merit.

Unfortunately.

Just goes to show what a crackpot with a lawyer can do.

Like Bill Clinton?

Bill Clinton had a great lawyer.

How much money got spent trying to nail Bill...and he was found guilty of lying about a blowie.

AND finished his Presidency with a 68% approval rating.

Which will irritate the Righties until the day they die. :killingme

Ding! Fries are done! :yahoo: Yes, lying under oath is just a minor irritant, isn't it?

Proving again that 7 out of 10 voters are nothing more than mouth-breathers. :bigwhoop:

Just wait until the numbers for Obama start rolling in. Oh, I can hardly WAIT.

You think you know something.

Lying about a personal indiscretion is a bit different than lying to further your hardcore political agenda.

Americans (in general) understand this. This helps to explain the disparity between Clinton's approval rating coming out of his Presidency and Bush's.

Bush is seen as a failure by many in his own party. Whereas Bill had to have high approval marks by Republicans to score so highly...ESPECIALLY after his impeachment.

Yeah, I know something. Numbers don't lie.

Yet this is also a president with truly dismal personal ratings: Sixty-seven percent of Americans say he's not honest and trustworthy. Seventy-seven percent say he lacks high moral and ethical standards. And just 44 percent view him favorably "as a person."

Okay, MPD. Measure whatever poll numbers you'd like to Dubya.

How's that working out?

Oh.....

Why bother? Let's get to heart of it, shall we? 911 was Bush's fault...even though Clinton had 8 years to respond to the escalating terrorist attacks...and did NOTHING. :ohwell:

You win. :yahoo:

Or is it the almost 3,000 people and their families who still grieve who lost their lives in the attack who won?

Ohhh..the ol' switcheroo, eh?

Sorry, MPD....I'm not falling for it. Embarrassing for you to resort to such desperate tactics.
