I waited for a friend of mine to finish her rounds and then I headed back to the trailer. It started raining, but all of my stuff was packed up. I think Sadie helped, but I wasn't over there so I'm not sure, thanks!!! It started pouring just after I loaded up and we started heading out. I got on route 4 and put the wipers on full blast. After crossing the bridge at Wayson's though it was literally BUCKETS. Visiblity was about 10' and those of us still moving slowed down to 30mph and turned on hazards so others could see us. So many people were stopped on the side of the road. I mean literally 20-30 cars were just sitting there.

There were 22 rides in the low hunters, but many didn't show up, they were going to hold the hack for 45 minutes, but ended up saying clear the area until the storm passed.

I am just getting back into showing. I went to the last MW show all ready to go. The storm came up during class 83 - my first class was to be 85 :lmao:

I plan on going to the fall schooling shows. Unfortunately, the next MW show is the day we leave for vacation.

I am so ready for vacation! We leave Sept 2.

Yes we did excellent also. 2 2nds, and a 6th.

For year end we are 4th for model gelding, and 3rd for showmanship. It has been a great show season for the first season back into shows. Next year I plan on it being even better. This year was mostly about learning how he moves, and behaves. I have learned that his idea of wigging out at a show really isn't that bad. Granted he is not easy to ride at times, but his moments are getting fewer and far between.
