Sounds like you had a bad experience with a guy in uniform and that sux, but don't lump us all in the same group. Not all guys in uniform are "no good". they changed the date

The new date is this sunday at 6am they are burning down the old evans seafood. I heard rumor that they are putting up townhomes there.

Actually, I enjoyed eating there a few years ago...greatest oysters!!!

Thanks for the pictures danzig. They also did a great job and took a transformer and the powerlines with them this am as we lost power til 1248. My stepdad said he saw them going down 249 to fill up at the hydrant guess they don't have hydrants down on the island.

1. They did not take out a transfromer or pwer lines, all the lines to Evans were dead.
2. They got all the water for the fire out of the bay.
3. The 249 thing was for a real fire.

I heard some chick in an SUV ran into a power pole and was killed. The unfortunate thing about the whole situation is that you lost power though. Sorry to hear about that.
