...lost his 17 month old grandson last week? Got away from the nanny for a few minutes and climbed into the hot tub.

From what I hear they were using it. They had just gotten out. There is an alarm on the door out to it, but it wasnt armed b/c they had just came in through it. The nanny wasnt paying attention for a minute and the little boy went back out and climbed into it.

Still very sad, and unfortunatly there will be even more to follow as the summer rolls around.....

How tragic! I've wrestled with the possibility of something like this happening when I've tossed the idea around of getting a hot tub or swimming pool. I'm sure the Nanny feels just horrible!
