Are these diet drinks the ones where splenda is the sweetner? I heard something about Coke and Pepsi bringing out diet drinks with splenda, but didn't catch when they were coming out.

Never understood why anybody would want to drink a diet soda.

There is 150 ?? something like that calories in a regular soda and tons of sugar.

I've got relatives in Northern NH, that's all they drink. I Tried it once when I was kid, that has to be the nastiest crap devised by man....

Has anyone tried Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper....I like Diet Dr. Pepper....I need to try Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper.....I like the diet sodas because of the taste....I think I have acquired a taste for them....I don't like the sweet regular sodas....To each his own I guess....

Coke has C2, which is a blend of Splenda and Nutrasweet, plus sugar. Pepsi has Pepsi Edge, which is half Splenda and half regular sugar. It's not bad, but it needs to be ice cold. The only ones that are pure Splenda sweetened are the Diet Rite line.

Oh, and 7UP now has a berry-flavored one sweetened with Splenda called 7UP Plus that is very good.

I forgot one other line: Diet Hansen sodas. The root beer is but it's hard to find around here. The best place we've found to get it is Trader Joe's in Annapolis.
