We haven't had a good one in awhile.

Tonight I'm broiling a steak and will have a green salad with it. I made a new beef rub that includes instant coffee - it is to die for!

I thought that said 'boiled steak'...

Chicken legs and Bisquik dumplings. Came out really well. Desert is frozen peanut butter filled chocolate cookies with a big ol' glass of milk.

2 cloves of garlic, minced
Handful of fresh parsley
Salt and Pepper

Directions

2. In a large baking dish, combine marinade and toss with chicken. Season well.

I've attempted to stop in and give them a try twice, but each time they were so crowded that parking was all the way down the side roads. They must be good.

I still don't know... I left both times without attempting to park. :ohwell:

If you can solve your parking problem Kwillia, the subs @ Firehouse are worth it. The bread is never a shot in the dark; it's always been fresh every time I've been there.
If you get a large sub, you can split it with someone or have it the next day; the medium sub is enough to fill you up without feeling "unnecessary" afterward. The chilli is okay, but unless they've changed something recently, you can only get a small bowl of it; what I call "a tease"; comparable to a small cajun or red beans and rice @ Popeye's.

It's all those Chipotle fanatics using up every available parking space in a 1/2 mile radius. They take over the credit union every day at lunch.
