Today was take out from Red Hot & Blue in Gaithersburg. Went to visit daughter and her hub in Olney. Very disappointed in the food. My daughter worked at RH & B (Prince Fred) for 6 years during HS and College, and the food was always great. So, the inferiority of the food was not expected. It was not a yummo experience.

Maybe that's the way one of her children said it or the way someone accidently misspelled it here. Tread=Thread. The old ones changed spellings of words around over the years.

I dunno...just glad I did not goof the spelling, which I've been known to do. I hate this tiny keyboard thingy.

I give up! :killingme: Y'all are too much, but entertaining. If there is controversy in a food thread, then we are all definitely doomed. Carry on.

Edit: Tomorrow's dinner is pot roast in the crock pot that I started tonight on low. Happy eating!

I'm on a kick and made a pot of homemade roasted garlic hummus the other day, so last night we had hummus crusted chicken thighs with veggie quinoa. It was good but next time I think I'll stuff chicken breasts with it instead.

I am so very blessed
Last night Bob made some Wiener Schnitzel (breaded veal cutlets) and a delicious mushroom/cream sauce. Delicious! :drool:

Tonight's menu: marinated boneless porkchops, sauteed fresh spinach and some pan-seared polenta. :yum:

Did some beef stew in the crockpot yesterday. Wasn't happy with the beef. Beef cubes turned out dry and the dayum things were in the juice all day. I think it's was the cut of beef I used. Regular stew meat.

Pork chops stuffed with spinach, sundried tomatoes, garlic and feta cheese. Tonite is pot roast, put in the crock pot today. The usual accompaniment’s, carrots, mashed potatoes, peas, biscuits and gravy.
