Direct TV and Surround Sound

They call me ... Sarcasmo
Call your neighbor's 12 year old son and let him have a shot at it.

LOL:lmao:

I was thinking that as well... However there is a problem with my direct tv. My channels go out while I am watching them. The direct tv guy will be here to fix in on thursday. I'll have him check it out then. If not I give up .

Any obstructions? With all the wind we've had a branch or limb could just be getting in the way every once in a while. That is what I'm dealing with, but it isn't bad enough to warrant me cutting down the offending tree. Yet.

Blah.. Blah...Blah
I've lived at my apartment complex for three years and have not had a problem until now. Perhaps the dish needs to be moved. Who knows

If DTV cannot figure it out - PM me, I do this type of work on the side... re-align satellite dishes after DTV has been out. I am surprised at some of the so-called "installers" out there... a good portion of them are REALLY good, but I seem to be finding a band of rogue idiots putting DTV systems in and I have re-aligned probably 15 or so dishes.

Normally you would get a pixelated signal (picture broken into little squares) if you get a bad signal with DTV - never seen DTV go B/W - DTV is digital so it would be pretty hard for that to happen... an analog over-the-air (OTA) signal can go B/W because the receive signal is so poor the tuner cannot pick-up the color pulse, thus it drops to B/W...

Good luck and let us know how it turns out!
