My first biatch is that the tuner in my livingroom does not keep the guide populated. It will update, aquire the data and only update part of the channels, then the next day they are defaulted to "regular schedule". I read the manual and cannot see anyplace where I can force it to download the guide.

I figured I would ask here before I sat on hold with Direct Tv for an hour.

Stay on hold. I'm not having that problem.

Pookieboo!!!
When I ever I have problems with a receiver, I reset it. There should be a reset button in the access panel where the card is stored.

The book says it will dowload guide info even when it is turned off. this one doesn't, it will aquire info and dowload for a couple minutes, then the next day, same thing.

We never have problems with it? Does it maybe have something to do with the new t.v. that we are all coming over on Superbowl night to watch?

I just did that, it is rebooting. I actually tried resetting the receiver via the website when I registered yesterday and it did nothing.

I suppose because I just finished filling the hot tub and the water is 58 degrees.
Way too cold. Friggin dog was just whining and I took her out to her pen and she was going wild. Had to grab her collar to get her inside. I've never had to do that. I hope another family of possums has not taken up in her dog house. She's 14. Way too old to be that interested in her pen. It's way too cold outside for me to take a look in there.

I have a similar problem. Channel 308 will not go into the customized channel listings, only in the "all channels" listing.

i have the same problem, like nightly, however, I don't have a reset button, I have to unplug the sonyabich which is nearly impossible because I have the wires hidden to keep the little one from getting into it... they told me :bigwhoop: like it wasn't their f'n problem... they're lucky I can't get cable...
