Thanks! You are correct  I just hit Menu, settings, and on my ToDoList it has 28 items :faint: My tivo disk is full as a result of all of these tasks its doing. I'm now manually having to tell it to not record. I'll keep playing around with it. Thanks again! You've pointed me in the right direction! :yay:
I need tivo. Also, I have always had excellent service with Direct T.V.

Aside from operator error problems, I'd recommend it. :yay: Now it seems I can't live with out it. :lmao: It's pretty cool, Tivo will let you rewind something you were watching. You know, sometimes you want to hear something again or see something again, or you can even pause your programming to get up use the bathroom, do errands or take a phone call. Then when you are ready, you can come back watch your show you wanted and just fast forward through the commercials. :yay: I'd say one of the top inventions in the past decade

We got a DVD recorder and I find it not so easy to use. Also, when you are recording a program, you have to have the t.v. on that station, so it really is only good if you want to record something after you go to bed or when you aren't home, providing you remembered to leave the t.v. set on that channel.

Oh, I see. I had that when I was with Dish Network except I think they called it a DVR or something. It was a pain. I think DirectTV is worlds better than Dish network. Also, I find the channel guide alot more user friendly.
