I love Sea World too. I'm iffy on Universal.

You know if you book 4 nights at Disney before Jan 24 you get 3 more nights free. I'm just saying......

I am looking forward to Universal building the Harry Potter Stuff :yahoo:

Our first trip was in 2004 over Thanksgiving break. Looking back I guess it was crowded but it was our first trip so we didn’t know any better. Honestly though I don’t remember it being any more or less crowded though than when we went this year in August. Thanksgiving was wonderful weather and the Christmas decorations are up so that’s a great bonusn - since it was comparable crowd wise August was hot, humid, and not as much fun but still great b/c hey it’s Disney. The best trip we’ve had was April but the kids had to miss a week of school, I don’t remember walking on many rides but we did a cuople so there were still people there but the weather was great and the crowds weren’t what they are at peak times.

I’d love to go back again to see the Christmas decorations - taking time to explore the resorts more but I love Christmas decorations.

Our next trip I've decided is going to be the week of Columbus day – I know since it’s a mini holiday there will be crowds but I don’t want to ever do the summer heat again and the kids have historically had off that Monday and Friday so that would mean only missing 3 days of school. I think it will be 2010 so that we can do other stuff this year but who knows - I’m not totally against going back this year although I think hubby would protest - he just doesn’t understand/appreciate Disney World like me and the kids do.

And a $200 gift card for specific dates as well - ahhh the temptation

We haven't decided yet. We are weighing the pros and cons right now. We always stay in Disney every time we go. HE wants to rent a house off property, I say that is sacrilegious.

you'll have to pay to park:frown:no extra magic hours:frown:

We love disney..

so much we bought a timeshare there. It is every other year and this year is our year. My son wants us to use it next month for his birthday. I told him no way it's too cold there then. From our experience over the years, and we have been to disney 5 times, do not go during spring break. The best time we went was in september. Great weather and no lines for any of the rides. We did take the kids out of school. We have also gone in may another bad time to go. The high schools do their senior trips then. The first time we went we stayed on disney property. Always do this at least once. The transportation alone is worth it. Our timeshare is 3 miles from disney and we love the fact that we are so close to all of the parks. We are also very close to Old Town which the kids also love. They have great little shops, a haunted house, and a carnival. Lusbymom, if you want some info on the timeshare let me know. Ours is 3 bedrooms and has a loft upstairs. It has a HUGE bathtub in the master and a screened in porch. We love it there. They just put in their own waterpark and movie theatre. They do lots of fun stuff for the kids too.

So you are going to let me use your timeshare... for free? :yahoo::yahoo:

Well you know your boy and our girl practically share a birthday... So we could take him with us

True.
Hubby just convinced him to go snow tubing for his birthday. :cds:
I told them I would watch and take pictures. The minute I got going good down the hill I would get scared and do a tuck and roll off the tube! :lmao:
