I have not yet, but have seriously considered it.

I used to fast during the day on Fridays during Lent. But I must admit, it was to save room for all those awesome Catholic church fish frys in New Orleans!

But seriously, I tried it a couple of times. Not to hard after the first day, but I would still take in juice during the day.

I've done alternative fasting, in fact, there is a great deal of research on it that shows positive. I did 1 500 calorie day and the next day 1800 calories. I could not do no calorie days and tried but I found the 500 calorie day effective for what I was trying to accomplish, which was weight loss.
