I'm not looking at the link, but I'm assuming that they are referring to the "B" word.

No, I don't think that it is even remotely pleasant to be called a "b", regardless of the situation, the environment, or who is doing the name calling.

I don't blame you at all.

Which is why I've decided to follow the forum's example, and from now on, shall call women "pound signs".

I once dated a girl who specifically said she could NEVER forgive being called that.

By some ironic twist of fate, she was the only woman I ever dated who was the MOST DESERVING of the title. No one else ever came close.

Most pound signs never forgive anything anyway, they carry grudges for ever and ever over nothing.

In my experience:

No woman likes to be seriously called a #####, the same way no man seriously like being called an a-hole, or needle-dick. Some may pretend to wear it as a badge of honor, but it still hurts when they get the B-bomb dropped on them.



Some women like to be called a #####, as a matter of course when you're talking dirty to them - especially if you mix it in with other little names... "You're a dirty little #####, aren't you, and you like it when I give it to you this way." - They can't get off without it - but there are some who will literally stop you mid-coitus and tell you not to talk to them like that*.


It's all a personal individual preference.






*It's true... there are some who will simply refuse to swallow if you call them names.

Being called the "B" word wouldn't bother me, but only because I'm not. So..if I'm actually being one, there is probably a damn good reason. Otherwise, it is just some word somebody threw out there because they felt like it and having nothing else to say.

LOL!!! Okay, you have a point.....but actually I'm not. Usually most people refer to women as being a "b" if they are being hateful, mean, vindictive, that type of thing. Again, some people just say it because it's just something to say when they can't think of anything else.

I think it depends on the source and context. Someone I cut off in traffic calling me a B is nothing compared to a sig other seriously calling you one.

...or if they have an opinion, feelings ,a thought in their head they decided to (gasp) express, don't live the status quo and don't apologize for it...

Bought a female dog once, and my mother in law told me that I would now be the Alpha-#####. Right or wrong in that scenario, she got a dial tone.
