I'm a cracka and I judge by character. But in my opinion, character has not only to do with one's morals and beliefs, but also in how they project themselves. If you're a white person who's cussing up a storm, wiping dip off your bottom lip, smashing beer cans on your forehead, you're not better/worse IMO than some black guy dragging the ass of his jeans on the ground instead of wearing a belt while yelling out to his "niggas" and thumping down the road in a hoopty with rap music blaring so loud it rumbles my car. I don't find either of those "character"istics to be anything warranting my respect. 
Character, IMO, has a lot to do in your self-respect and the image you project of yourself. If you project yourself to be a slug or a thug, that's how I'm going to treat/talk to you. :shrug: And I don't see that as being "racist". It's like a chic with big hoots wearing a low-cut shirt, then bytching about people calling her a tease. If you don't want people to comment or judge you by your "display", rethink your individual advertising plan.
