Do you keep reading material in your bathroom?

That seems like a thing people do, according to TV shows, plus I've seen magazines and what have you in other people's bathrooms like in a little rack or something.

When I had kids at home I'd take a book in the bathroom and sit on the edge of the tub to read. It was the only place in the house where I could read without being interrupted every 5 seconds. When I have to make a poopie, I just go. Takes maybe 2 minutes.

But I'm watching Breaking Bad again and just saw the episode where Hank finds Walt's Leaves of Grass on the back of the terlet, along with a bunch of magazines, and it made me wonder how common it is to keep reading material on hand in the bathroom.

Husband has a little magazine rack attached to the side of the toilet for his car magazines. He either reads those or scrolls on his phone.

For your consideration ...

It all started with the Sears catalog in the women's unmentionable section.
 All I had was the Lane Bryant Catalog. :bawl:

Not for the last 25 years or so, since PDA's and eBook readers became available. But yes, we used to have the little rack with a readers digest, national geographic, and TV Guide in it.

I used to a long time ago but they get dirty, dusty and icky, and frankly, I never sat and actually read in the bathroom.

When I was growing up, my dad kept all his dirty magazines under the bathroom sink until my mom took all my barbie cut outs and put clothes on everyone. My dad wasn't very happy about that and moved them elsewhere.

I guess maybe I’m the only female to admit to reading in the bathroom. Not books or magazines, but will scroll through FB. I’m getting old and things don’t always progress as quickly as they used to, so I prefer not to just sit and stare at the walls. A handheld Yahtzee game will also help pass the time.

There you have it! TMI!
Maybe I’ll write an article for Reddit or something about my ‘bathroom habits’ and that’s why I can’t find a man (and probably certainly not the only reason) 😆
