Yes, 60+ years later that’s one of the few memories from those years.Did she also tell you (like mine did) that the little sewn-in tag goes to the lower right corner of the bed for proper orientation?

That's what I was taught. This thread reminded me of my grandma and her teaching me to make my bed. I think it may be the first thing anyone taught me rather than just learning by watching. She told me that the wide basting goes at the top and that the sewed side goes down so that it is facing up when it is folded over the blanket.
One of my girls is the same size as Ruby, after making bed, I put her blanket at the end of the bed..that's where she'll lay for her nap. During the night she snuggles next to me.
They're so smart..and learn fast.
Same! My little girl is the same..wants completely under the blankets. At first, I was worried and would keep checking if still breathing. For your consideration ...
Mine balls up right next to my pillow, at 48lbs. By the morning, he's stretched straight out under the blankets with his head towards the bottom snuggling me. Can't figure out how he breathes under there.
Ruby sleeps up against my back.Same! My little girl is the same..wants completely under the blankets. At first, I was worried and would keep checking if still breathing.
I sleep on the edge..Ruby sleeps up against my back.
sometimes to the point of nearly pushing me off the bed.![]()
Mine did. He'd lay between us lengthwise, and thru the night turn sideways. Pushed us right off the bed.Ruby sleeps up against my back.

YES! 100% always.I've made my bed every morning since I was old enough to do so.
Better yet, are their any guys who make their bed? Men are notorious slobs - any exceptions in here?
