about the Martin / Zimmerman crap?

I'm really sick of seeing and hearing about it.

Maybe I'm callous, but I don't know anybody in the case and I just don't care. I wasn't on the jury. I wasn't there.

Are there injustices in the word? Sure. On all sides, black, white, asian, purple, green.

But the decision has been made by a jury. The US has the best legal system in the world. We weren't in that courtroom, we don't know anything except what a biased media has told us.

Let go and move forward. Think. The more "drama and hostility" being shown in the media, is playing into their hands. I think the media wanted more drama. Yippie. More headlines.

It's not actually accomplishing anything positive.

Want to change the world? Then change it from the inside. Become a cop, a lawyer, a judge, a politician.

Again, personally I'm disgruntled with the whole thing even being made more than what it is by the media. Then picked up on by people in the media (celebrities) who are spouting off crap and instigating more drama.

Where any of you there? Do you know? Are you related to either side?

my thought....

do i think there was more to what really happened... YES..

do I think Zimmerman is totaly not guilty..... no

do I think Trevon is innocent..... no

BUT THE FACT of the matter is the facts that they had to go off of....

... they couldnt go off of what they thought how they felt... they had to look at the facts and put THEIR thought aside... THAT IS A HARD THING TO DO.

So everyone that is all :jameo: about the verdict being :bs: cant look at the evidence and facts that they had to go on....

Yes.. i do think there is more to the story as the saying goes... There are always two sides to every story.... but the other side of this story is DEAD.

Its sad... very sad people have to act like this

As I've been stating since day one...the outcome of this case will not change my life in any way, shape, or form. Simply...IDGAFF.

As long as Trayvon is being used as a political pawn, yes, I'm interested.

He's only being used as a political pawn because the media is selling headlines.

Everybody is being manipulated and the facts be damned. :ohwell:

Exactly!

This all started when the Kenyan mouthed off and drew in the race baiters.

We could post dozens of black on white, black on black, black on Asian and black on hispanic crimes that occur regularly but are not in the national news.

I've rarely seen any news story that is completely unbiased. Either Trayvon is a thug and Zimmerman is a community saint or Trayvon is an innocent child and Zimmerman is a wannabe cop.

..and then the DoJ got involved, and now the Prez wants us to honor this hoodlum. Things aren't bad enough, the Prez has to stick his nose in it again.

I don't care at all about the actual case. I did not watch a single second of the trial.

I do care about the bottom up efforts by DOJ in organizing "grass roots" protests. I also care about their top down efforts by exerting improper pressure to charge Z, and to continue their pursuit of federal charges.

I don't care any more about Trayvon than I do about all of the other people murdered that same day who did not get any publicity. The media ignores them because they cannot spin their stories into the racial narrative that they want to push in order to promote "social justice."

The media doesn't want justice, they want ratings.

The fact that it got so much publicity annoyed me. Like someone else said above, there are plenty of crimes, including murders, committed every day that don't get any publicity. Maybe it got publicity since it was hispanic vs black, although that doesn't make as much news as white vs black would. I suspect this got publicity because of the victim's race AND the circumstances behind it (neighborhood watch angle), but I don't know. The neighborhood watch part certainly intrigued me, because I was curious as to what rights we have as concerned citizens. Still, I didn't follow the case, I just heard the basics behind it and the verdict.

Given the verdict, I would expect a media buzz at this point, but not prior to it. I mean, Plaxico Burress got 2 years in jail for mistakenly shooting himself in the leg. Meanwhile, Zimmerman allegedly provoked an altercation when told not to be authorities, killed someone, and he walks? To me, THAT'S a media story.

The result of this trial basically says we can all be "friendly" neighborhood spider men (at least in Florida), for better or for worse. I think my superhero character is going to be named Master Beta.

I'm very interested in the royal baby. I consider British history an extension of our own history, and in no small way impacted what we wanted our country to be. This baby will be history in the making. S/he may be ruler some day. Hopefully, a ruler that that country can be proud of.

They are 3rd in line for the throne and a ruler in name only. Why does that rate so much news coverage?
