They are 3rd in line for the throne and a ruler in name only. Why does that rate so much news coverage?

I didn't say it rated, I said I'm interested. I'm actually not aware of how much news coverage it's getting, because I rarely watch the news.

My hubby summed up this case nicely. ..
Hispanic guy follows black guy. Black huy beats up Hispanic guy. Hispanic guy shoots black guy. Black guy dies. All this equals its the white mans fault!

about the Martin / Zimmerman crap?

I'm really sick of seeing and hearing about it.

Maybe I'm callous, but I don't know anybody in the case and I just don't care. I wasn't on the jury. I wasn't there.

Are there injustices in the word? Sure. On all sides, black, white, asian, purple, green.

But the decision has been made by a jury. The US has the best legal system in the world. We weren't in that courtroom, we don't know anything except what a biased media has told us.

Let go and move forward. Think. The more "drama and hostility" being shown in the media, is playing into their hands. I think the media wanted more drama. Yippie. More headlines.

It's not actually accomplishing anything positive.

Want to change the world? Then change it from the inside. Become a cop, a lawyer, a judge, a politician.

Again, personally I'm disgruntled with the whole thing even being made more than what it is by the media. Then picked up on by people in the media (celebrities) who are spouting off crap and instigating more drama.

Where any of you there? Do you know? Are you related to either side?

I don't care for either side, GZ made poor decisions all the way, TM made as bad and worse decisions. I do care about the principals involved though and wish there was a better poster child for it.

Why can't they just let it be, the DOJ should butt out and let the State tend to its own business. Where was the NAACP when OJ walked? If they were so interested in justice, seems like they should of spoke up then, looks like a case of bias of justice to me.

See post 26...they grabbed the wrong incident. If they had used this one, they would have been able to get somewhere with their agenda.

I don't think this one is going to play out quite the same way.

A trial for a 76-year-old man accused of shooting to death his 13-year-old neighbor in front of his mother in Milwaukee is set to begin this week in a polarizing case that some say was misplaced vigilante justice.

A national field director for Rev. Jesse Jackson's Rainbow PUSH Coalition said in Wisconsin last year that the shooting of Darius Simmons, 13, was “vigilantism and rogue police behavior” in a similar vein to the killing in Florida of Trayvon Martin, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported. George Zimmerman was acquitted in that case over the weekend.
