I rarely watch a lot of the Winter Olympic Games, once in awhile.
But THIS year?! I'm so sick of snow - I don't think I wanna watch!

Agreed ! Coverage 'aint' what is used to be.
It's kinda like a chick-flick with all the human interest stories now days.
I wanna' see the competitions all the way through, not a soap opera.

It is better...
than surfing the networks looking for something that won't be juvenile & offensive.
I don't mind a few "back-stories" mixed in but at the cost of showing competition? NEVER...I remember the horrible job of the summer Olympics in Atlanta--nonstop blather with "Love story" playing in the background.
I don't know ANY of the athletes,...yet apparently among the snow boarding & figure scating crowd,....they have become thier idols.- Sorry, but figure scating just conjures up scenes of "BLADES OF GLORY" and I can't help but laugh at them..."They're making a mockery of our sport!"HAHAHAHA.
darnit,... fell asleep during the parade of athletes...missed the US walking in. Oh well.
If they can walk in , carry a camera & chew gum at the same time,..they may have some talent.
It might be fun to have some decent sports on for the next two weeks.--Make winter pass a little faster.
