Does Anyone Collect Sports Cards Anymore?

92 and 93. I know that the 92 is Upper Deck. I'm pretty sure that there's a 92 and 93 Fleer set. I'm also pretty sure that there's a Donruss set in there. I know that none of them are Topps. They're all baseball cards.

92 UD set - $4
92 Fleer set - $3 - $10
93 Fleer set - $3 - $4

It's painful... I know. :)

How horrible is that! 10 years ago they went for $40-$60 per set! I'm leaving them boxed up. I'll let my son break them open in a few years and go to town. I wish that I would have sold a few of the good cards that I have about 15 years ago when I was offered a few hundred bucks for them.

My favorite card of all time:

Not since about 1990. Strictly baseball. It got so crazy and complicated after that it just wasn't worth it anymore, having to buy special sets, partial sets, rookie sets just to complete a set. I just quit.

And then they came out with the Desert Shield and Storm sets. Those are cool, and have a few of them.

I have about half a linen closet full of sets, between 1979 and 1990. Probably worth about what I paid for them.

Think the comics are worth much? I'm tired of dragging huge boxes around filled with these things if they're not going to go up in value

What good cards do you have??

(they have to pre-date the '80s to be of any value really)..

Once something becomes collectible, it no longer is..

None of mine are before the early 80s and I have very few that are from the 80s. Most of mine are from the 90s.

80's and 90's are college cards.. NOBODY collected them, which in turn, make them collectable..

None of my cards are worth a crap now. Most of my cards are Cal Ripken Jr., Mark McGwire, and Ben McDonald. I have the error Ben McDonald rookie card that everyone was searching for back in the 90s. Now it's worth less than $10.

I have several cards of Cal's brother, Billy, with the "f***face" on the bat handle knob, before it was air-brushed off. Wonder how much that one is worth today.

No biggie. That's an awesome, nostalgic card. I have one displayed on my wall.

Here's a few from my collection below. I picked up over 1,100 tobacco cards from a collector up in WV about 9 months ago. I have a few I can't get ride of if any is interested in some nostalgia at a CHEAP price! :) I've also recently picked up a few Harper and Strasburg Autographed RCs.

I have that card somewhere

I never realized the late 80's/early 90's cards were low in value. That's when I did most of my collecting, although it was a kid hobby more than anything else. Oh well! So much for that Bonds rookie card

not much. You can look up their "value" online, but I'm betting the value listed there is much higher than what you'll see on e-bay. Maybe if you have something that's incredibly popular/rare, or some rare complete set. Otherwise, even in a time like this when their popularity is really high, you probably won't get much. Sell em before you move for whatever you can manage.
