I heard a rumor last week that John Bonham's son Jason was getting ready to start a new band
I bet I could start a band too if my dad was John Bonham. Any idea what style of music it is?

well i dont know if you remember it but back around mid 80's, Jason started out a band called Bonham. As far as i know they only put out 1 album called The Disreguard of Timekeeping.
The rumor I heard is that he's gonna try to make a go at another band with the same type of sound, Kinda 80's metal but just a little bit harder

It could be, but I have heard and enjoy most of the songs listed above. Maybe I am not a musical conessuier because stuff like this makes me want to jam an ice pic in my ear;

Picture yourself on a boat on a river
With tangerine trees and marmalade skies
Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly
A girl with kaleidoscope eyes

Cellophane flowers of yellow and green
Towering over your head
Look for the girl with the sun in her eyes
and she's gone

Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds, ah

Follow her down to a bridge by a fountain
Where rocking horse people eat marshmallow pies
Everyone smiles as you drift past the flowers
that grow so incredibly high

Newspaper taxies appear on the shores
Waiting to take you away
Climb in the back with your head in the clouds
and you're gone

Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds, ah

Picture yourself in a train in a station
With plasticine porters with looking glass ties
Suddenly someone is there at the turnstile
The girl with kaleidoscope eyes

Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds, ah
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds

and I am not talking aobut William Shatners version either.
