How much is to expensive? The basic silver ones are only $60 and $65. I know this because I bought two of them at the Pandora store in the Annapolis Mall yesterday.

Yea..........

I'd rather just be given the bracelet in a nice, plain jewelry box. I'd be more upset to think I'm getting a Pandora bracelet, and 2 seconds later realize it's not. I'm not saying that, as in I'd be picky and wouldn't accept a knock-off, in fact I would love a pretty charm bracelet...ANY jewelry, really. But the idea of using a Pandora box without a Pandora bracelet in it is kind of cruel :nono:

I wouldn't use a Pandora box. I think it's deceiving and sends the wrong message

If you can't swing getting the Pandora bracelet, then the daughter will just have to understand that. She is getting what is probably a beautiful bracelet chosen by Dad. Which is more important?

Hell, I wouldn't even know what one was if the ad didn't pop up

Go to a store that sells Pandora and say you purchased one of their bracelets as a gift but you accidently stepped on the box, or something like that, then ask if you could purchase a replacement box. It probably wouldn't cost that much and the worst they could do is say no.

Nothing says "I'm cheap" better than trying to fake not being cheap.... :boo:

I was gonna say... just buck up and get the real Pandora braclet...

That's what I was going to say. Like I said above, the actual braclets aren't that expensive (unless you get a gold one). The silver ones are only $60 and $65. The cost goes crazy is with the charms themselves.

"Cheap" is relative

Perhaps it is a Pandora bracelet that he bought off of eBay?

No real deception...other than where it was purchased.

"Pandora like"

So, you drive to a car dealership and buy a brand new Toyota Tundra extended cab (my next vehicle, by the way), and negotiate a decent price. You drive off with a new Toyota. :yay:

So, you scout CarMax.com and find the same Toyota Tundra with a few miles on it, but it is significantly, and I mean *significantly* less money than the brand new price. You drive off with a newish Toyota. :yay:

Just because I bought it at a reduced rate from someplace other than the original store doesn't mean that I am driving a Pinto.

Same thing with a "used" bracelet. It is still a Pandora, regardless of where it was purchased.

Presuming that this really is a Pandora bracelet.
