Does anyone know the name of a rescue that takes in dogs/cats for soldiers getting ready to deploy? I remember seeing it a while back...they help the pets of those getting ready to deploy and rehome them.
I can't find it...I've looked on Petfinder and did some searches on the net, I'm not having any luck.
Ring a bell w/ anyone? Thanks for any help.

After looking at the site, I don't think thats the right one. I'm looking for a rescue where soldiers getting ready to deploy can leave their dog/cat here in the U.S while they are gone...I think your link is for animals found by troops in different countries, and they send care packages or help to bring them back here. Thanks though, I'll keep looking and see if that site handles anything else.

Most the the site is for helping military families with their pets. There's even a section specifically devoted to fostering of pets while owners are deployed. It's a start. :yay:

Thanks for the sites!

Catt, I'm not sure what I clicked on...but I was reading about mascots overseas that the soldiers try to bring home...when I just clicked on your link, fosters came right up. Thanks again!
