j/k - I'm the one who solved any problems she had when using our sewing machine.

As for stripes and patches, I used to sew them on by hand when I had to, but I found that E.B. Green tape was great for stipes and hemming pants - it even holds on while going through the laundry.

The ultimate solution to stripes and patches was to get the heck out! :lmao:

I got my machine at the transferr station along with a tv for my kids room and my computer table and my end table and all the kids bikes. I think its more manly if you go dumpster diving for a sewing machine. I did have to go to joanns fabrics to get a bobbin and needles:yay:
