Ok peeps....I have got a bunch of, how we say, slightly overcooked pork ribs, with plenty of meat on them...they are the big slab style, with big, thick bones on them...If any of y'all would like for your K-9 to smile , you're welcome to them........

Oh, yikes!

I never give my dogs real bones, just kinda safe that way. I give them the little Marrow Bones they make in a bag. They love those and it has real bone marrow in them so they are good for them.

I see your point, but in the past, I've given all the dogs I've owned these, and they lived out a normal lifespan..:shrug:..Maybe it was better luck than good management.........

No doubt, never gave mine any, but I have seen hunting dogs gobble them down at a hunting camp....I was shocked.

Certain chicken bones are fine and are part of the Bones and Raw Food (B.A.R.F.) Diet.

Actually, once a year or so I go to the butcher and ask him to give me knuckle bones or shin bones with marrow. I broil them in the oven, let cool and give it to the dogs as a special treat. They only get them supervised and they get taken away and tossed once the marrow/cartiledge is all gone.

What is wrong with you? As has been mentioned in this thread, there ARE some bones that are perfectly acceptable for dogs to eat.

Conversely, how do you know wolves don't die of a perforated stomach or intestine?

All I know, my dogs never had a problem with bones, y'all baby your animals too much...IMHO...
