When I first heard about this story, I was all ready to lambast Dog, and blast anyone who defended him.
You have single-handedly changed my mind, and I'm almost at the point where I want to take Dog's side just to spite you.
Congratulations on the most counterproductive argument in the history of mankind.
Hearing *about* the story doesn't give you the context and what was actually said. I heard about the story on Fox this morning and they made it sound like Dog was off on a major racial tear. After I actually heard the tape, I changed my opinion, because the media is presenting it a LOT different than what was actually said.
And, frankly, Qurious, it is YOUR fault and the fault of race-baiters like you that there are people in this country who don't like black people and don't care to have them around.
It's very similar to what women faced in the 70s and 80s - one wrong move, regardless of intent, and you are either fired from your job, or standing in front of a jury, waiting to find out how much you must pay some little chickie who got offended. Employers started walking a tightrope: they didn't want to hire women because who needs that crap? Nor could they refuse to hire women, otherwise they'd be the target of the feminazis.
So, Qurious, if you don't like it that some whites are leery of black people, don't perpetuate the reason for that fear.

you can have a show all ya want but if you don't have somewhere to air it, you won't make no money.

There are "n" and there is "white trash" - same thing, just a different color... and depending on what color you are, usually decides which you think is worse.
Many many years ago, we had trouble in the neighborhood and my mom called the instigator a "N"... then she said that no, she was wrong (my mom), this person was worse that that, she was nothing but "white trash"....

This is a conversation that will never "smooth over". I'm just saying we all have our "insert derogatory phrase" regarding every race, it's one the opposite race will use, as well as our own race using it. It'll never be politically correct, but it's always going to exist.
How many of our elected officials, sports stars, movie stars, etc., use the Lord's name in vain and it NEVER makes it to the news... Why? It doesn't illicit the same heated conversations as the race card always will.

i care a lot more if someone called me a "N" than if someone called me a cracker or honkey...and i'm white.
the two latter terms don't even seem derogatory enough to influence me at all, but calling me a "N" (which i believe is a term that knows no racial boundaries, it is simply an uncivilized, ignorant, ect human being) is crossing the line and you will hear something about it if you choose to do so
