red pepper works too. I had problems w/ the dog chewing on shoes years ago. After putting red pepper on a pair of old shoes and leaving it in plain view one night, the problem soon went away.
It just puzzles me that besides the collar and his bed, he doesn't chew on anything else....except his toys of course. Strange little doggy...I think I'm going to try the bitter apple stuff...but thanks for all of the help...
