WHAT BREED OF DOG IS THIS??? Why did the vet not keep him and run warm IV's threw him? I would have left him at the vet until he was warm and up or brought his dead lifeless body home to bury. I would not have brought him home half assss

I didn't go to the vet with my b/f. His friend did, cause one drove and my b/f held the dog in his lap. I don't know why the vet didn't keep him.

He's a walker and he's about 5 years old. This dog goes hunting ALL the time, that's why the boyfriend thinks he's used to the cold, but most days he doesn't listen to me. I told him the other week the dog was cold when we took it hunting but he said no he's fine. Well last night when he brought him back from the vet, I said now do you beleive me that animals get cold ?

Dear blue,

Your b/f has abused his animal and does not deserve to have him. Maybe you should hint "adoption" to him.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like the b/f maybe doesn't want to spend what it might have cost to properly vet the dog. I'd call the vet myself if I were you and ask specifically what was done, what was recommended to be done and explain that the dog is still not right and what should you do.

Is the dog on heartworm preventative and has he had all of his shots?

You smell funny
Your b/f is a baffoon, and if you can accpet that this issue with animal abuse is OK enough to not take a stand against it, then you are a baffoon, too.

You should move to the amazon and raise baffoon children, and leave them naked and stranded outside in teh cold...away from all other forms of life that you may choose to abuse.

Sheesh.

Withhold sex until the dog is in the house, or kick the redneck in the nuts repeatedly until the dog is inside.

Leave the dumbass b/f tied up in the back yard, and bring the pup inside! :yay: See how how long it take the dumbass to freeze to death!

Dogs are just like people. If they get dehydrated, they get hypothermia quickly. As cold as it has been, I'll bet b/f hasn't put fresh water out for the dog and the water in the dog dish has been frozen over. So the poor mut has been getting drier and drier (dryer and dryer?).

Yeah, bet the vet wanted to put the dog down 'cause he's too far gone (like his kidneys have failed him or something) but b/f didn't want to pay the freight. So b/f brought the dog home to live or die there. :whip:

He should be charged for cruelty and the vet should not have allowed the dog to go home, to live or die.
