Dog Hydration

She found some clumps of birdseed in the back yard and ate them. It became a cork inbetween her stomach and intestines or whatever dogs have.

OH no sorry to hear that Jetmonkey. I take it they had to do surgery to remove it?

How did the vet determine the blockage, by x-rays? Reason I'm asking is my dog got sick last night with same symptoms and has an appointment this afternoon at the vets. He hasn't vomited since this morning but I have taken all water away from him so I'm thinking that is why. He seems to be in discomfort as he constantly gets up and walks around before trying to lie down again.

Yup, x-rays.
