Dog on Hannity

Oh come on!

:roflmao:

I was like, DOG! See my user title! STOP TALKING!!!!!

:lmao:

...that's shear poetry;

And I — that sounds like, you know, a crazy thing to say, especially on your show. But to myself I'm doing that so that everyone will know, even after I'm dead and gone, I am sorry. And I feel at home right there. And that's where I deserve to be, a grave without a marker if they're going to be that, too.

You're not doubting his sincerity, are you???

Yes: Stern gets off on this kind of thing. He wasnt so happy when he got bumped though.

That aside, I only saw Dog a few times when I was channel surfing, Then I saw his wife once and was convinced this man had extremely bad taste in women,. I am afraid I judged him by his no class wife and saw no need to watch the show any further.

I could certainly understand why his wife would be called a dog, maybe the name rubbed off.

Right...

In the court of public opinion, there'd be no time for waiting until the next election. :ohwell:

...but if we knew that, on a regular basis, Joe Shmoe said things like Dog says around his office all the time when he was state representative, alderman or dog catcher, then maybe he doesn't become state senator or state ag or rep to congress and doesnt move up that latter.

Or, if he does, at least it's because people actually know them instead of the image.

Absolutely. People can never change from stuff like this. There is absolutely no rehabilitation. Once someone has ever committed a crime, ever, they should always be considered unrecoverable. :eyebrow:

Well, maybe not. He's a piece of trash today, but not for his minor crimes decades ago.

With holding information on a murder and committing armed robberies may be minor crimes in your book, but not so much in mine. A person who does this once perhaps can be rehabilitated, but a person who does this more than once in my opinion is a scumbag who should not be made an icon. He proved his "scumbagedness" by his attitude about people based soley on race. For a father to with hold employment from a child because he is dating somone from a particular race clearly displays that he is a scumbag.

Saw excerpts from the Hannity interview. It reminded me how much I dislike Hannity. I was moved by how Hannity led Dog.....uh Duane down the "You were beaten as a child correct?" WTF does that have to do with anything? This is a prime example of moral relativism used by the left being hijacked and used by Hannity. Lets try to marginalize what Duane said by spinning a horrendous story about his youth 50 years ago so we can see clearly that 1. Relatively speaking what he did was not nearly as bad as what was done to him. 2. Create a cocoon of victimhood for Duane to hide in.

The blubbering Duane did was good too. Luckily I had the Pete 5000A mind reading machine hooked to the TV. This is the thought running through Duane's mind during the blubber.

I am really so so so sorry that I got caught because I was makin bank and now I am not going to be able to make the payments on the 4 Suburbans I bought. That wasn't the real me I wonder if my Dog the Bounty Hunter Lunch Box deal is off with Mattel now?

Well, he had a point in that he didn't want this girl running to the Enquirer with tapes of them using casual racial slurs. He certainly knew that she could make a nice chunk of cash selling something like that, and he would lose his career. Obviously it never occurred to him that his own son would sell him out.

This makes perfect sense to me, and I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt until that little interview performance. I'd have had more respect (because a little is more than zero) if he'd simply said what he told the kid on the phone: we're a rough bunch and we use language that wouldn't look good if the public-at-large heard it. We don't necessarily mean it in a hateful way, it's just the low-class way we talk, considering we're a rough bunch and not a pack of educated individuals. What do you expect from a bunch of former felons and gang members?

Instead, we got his tearful song and dance, which made him look like a total moron.
